| Given our 2 DRs are not generating players, thank goodness our friends at Wigan & HKR are prepared to lend us some.
Good to have Connor back but the new 7 from Wigan looks a bit lively.

| FFS. That was so very winnable. Look light up front don't we. Maybe with Bienek back. Much more lively with O'Bierne on top. But it's going to be a long season.

| That was a game we should have been able to win.

| Sheffield had the most possession and probably just about deserved the win.London did well to hold off the early pressure but just couldn’t pull away when needed.Should they have gone for the try instead of the two points? I assume we need to finish 9th to stay clear of the 8s play-off malarkey which seems very unlikely now. At least it was a really nice day weather wise with a very pleasant atmosphere.Definitely the best trip to the rock for me so far.

| We struggle to create chances and so when we make mistakes we lose. We didn’t do enough second half so they just about deserved it but that was winnable and we’re running out of games. I thought the young kids did well. Obviously the 34 did a good job but I thought Kerr when he came on was positive and quick. Mason put in a good shift as well. Problem is if a third of your team only turned up the night before it’s always going to be clunky and that team spirit will necessarily not be quite there. Bottom line is that’s 3 games we’ve not been far off but came away with zero points. All things considered the team is doing as well as we can hope most weeks but that, sadly, doesn’t mean we’ll stay up. We’re beginning to need a bit of luck now. I think we can do it but really we need to recruit a couple.
