Honestly signing Alfie doesn't bother me at all, He'll have cost us absolute peanuts and and only 50% on the cap. He has skills and a bit of size so if he works out happy days, if not it's nothing lost.
Jake Thewlis i do hope we re-sign as he looks pretty good, him and Josh at Centre and Wing together i think would be a good combo.
What skills does he have apart from dropping a ball over the line when being clean through? That does take some real skill to be fair.
